October 12th marks Spain’s National Day. The CPS’s participation for several years in Estampa, the largest contemporary graphic work event in Europe, in Madrid, and more recently in FIG – International Engraving Festival, in Bilbao, allowed the edition and access to the work of talented artists, in a country where engraving represents a strong cultural heritage.

Artists of great consecration represented in the most important collections of the world, such as Tàpies, Gerardo Rueda or Luis Gordillo, and names such as Alcántara, Paco Aguilar or Juan Barreto, who are shaping the current artistic panorama, “Impressões Ibéricas” (Iberian Impressions) presents the graphic work of prominent creators, which as a whole, reveal the cultural and visual richness and the multiple facets of Spanish identity.
