THE DREAMS OF MATTER
Master Humberto Marçal is Since 1994, he has been one of those largely responsible for the success of the engraving and lithography editions of the Portuguese Screen Printing Center. Today he presents us once again, in an engraving in two color variants, his universe under the sign of the poetic dialogue with nature that inspires most of his creations. A poetics of the four elements highlighted by the immense richness of a palette that illuminates with alchemical gold.

In his work, the gesture associated with this rare sensitivity to nature color, reveals the intimacy and mystery of the earth, the secret germination of life, the forms manifesting a solar and vertical impetus that unites the destinies of man and the Cosmos, the ultimate meaning of creation. and its aesthetics.
