This album, written by renowned Cuban photographer Paco Bou, pays tribute to Alicia Alonso, Prima Ballerina Assoluta of Cuban ballet, diva of world ballet.

Alicia Alonso (1920-2019) danced until At the age of 74, he shared the stage with the best dancers, including Rudolf Nureyev and made dance the identity mark of his country, having been distinguished by UNESCO for the worldwide promotion of ballet. p>

Paco Bou served as Alicia Alonso's personal photographer for more than 30 years, creating an impressive photographic archive of the dancer, as well as of the Cuban National Ballet.

The Portuguese Screen Printing Center, together with the photographer, carefully selected 3 photographs from its extensive collection, which eternalize the perfection and gracefulness of the famous baliarina, brought together in this elegant art album that pays tribute to him.

Paco Bou

Consecrated Cuban photographer, Paco Bou played a notable cultural role by creating an impressive photographic archive of Alicia Alonso, famous Cuban ballerina, the first and only Latin American to receive the title of Prima Ballerina Assoluta, as well as the National Ballet of Cuba, documenting national and international galas and representations. For more than 30 years, Paco Bou served as Alicia Alonso's personal photographer, showing in his records all his sensitivity in capturing the delicate movements of the body and light.
His experience in several ballet festivals, but also jazz and cinema, has given him important awards and mentions, including the award from Cuba International magazine. Since 1991 until today, he remains an active photojournalist at ICAIC – Cuban Cinematographic Institute and collaborates with its main magazine. É He is a photographer assigned to cover the most important film festival in the country, Festival de Cinema Latino Americano, and in this sense he is a great photographer. author of major photo reports on international cinema personalities.
