iLAND (baking) 2013

Musée Paul Valéry, França

In this performance Regina Frank was dressed with iLAND dress. She made a cake from scratch speaking about transitions and alchemy, the love of a mother and the smell of a freshly baked cake instead of industrial bought cakes. Under her dress she had hidden a finished cake which was still warm and she pretended to have baked it with her own body heat. She shared the cake speaking about sharing and hygiene and environmental issues. But also about the female powers and the Placenta, which is called Mutterkuchen (Mothercake) in German.
