Born in 1959. He studied Fire Arts at Escola António Arroio in 1980/82. He received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation between 1982/84 and 1992/93. Artistically, he began exhibiting in 1985, always showing a strong connection to the world. ceramics. In his work, using mainly archaic methods, he generally uses rustic pastes in red and yellow ochres, creating different structures in a singular body that multiplies.
