Helena Mártires

Born in Moçambique, in 1950. He graduated in Painting from ESBAL and took the Engraving course from the Sociedade Cooperativa de Gravadores Portugueses. Since then, his artistic path has been Essentially developed within the scope of engraving. In 1982, he had his first collective exhibition entitled “New Engravers” at the Estoril Casino Art Gallery. Others followed, not only at national and international level, namely in Spain, Italy, Japan and Taiwan. Individually, he exhibited at the CTT Collector's Gallery (1989 and 1992), at the Sociedade Cooperativa de Gravadores Portugueses (1990) and at the Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores (1992). Your work is represented in some public collections, namely the CTT Collection, the Setúbal Museum, the Armindo Teixeira Lopes Municipal Museum in Mirandela and the Bank of Portugal.
