THE REINVENTION OF WRITING
Liz Collini's art explores the various resources of a speech made to communicate the incommunicable: substantiality and insubstantiality, ambiguities, double meanings and uncertainties that are hidden in everyday language. In current silkscreen printing, on a blue background that seems to authorize dreams and daydreams, the detailed inscriptions and schemes free and hide the words, after all “neither one thing nor the other”, just the spell of reinvention ;on of writing.
