DOTBOT, THE SCREEN PRINTING ROBOT CREATIVE BY LEONEL MOURA

Continuing the Due to his very particular and innovative conception of art that implies the relationship between art and science, Leonel Moura integrates himself into the international context of Bio Art of which he is a member. Among us, the main exponent, presents us today with the DOTBOT multiple, in four versions. The artist explains the rare connection between conception and error at the basis of the stain technique present in current screen printing, an “invented” by RAP the robot which is located at the Museum of Natural History in New York. The four drawings at the origin of these works created by one of his painting robots, using the CMYK base: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, offer us optical effects of great energy and disturbing fascination. nio.
