Helena Justino

Born in Porto in 1944. She had a degree in Architecture from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa, and in Painting from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto. Having spent her childhood in Moç ;ambique until At the age of 10 and then through the bush of Angola, Helena Justino captured a style of composition from those parts and above all the bright and strong colors that make the peculiarity of her work.

He held his first solo exhibition at the Luanda Museum in 1963 and has exhibited regularly since 1985 in Portugal and Germany. country, those that are the result of its good relations with Angola stand out, but it has also been part of numerous collectives, including in the municipality of Cascais, where it exhibited at the Casino Estoril and at the Hotel Albatroz, arriving to internationalization with exhibitions in Santiago Compostela and other locations in Galicia, New York and Madrid.

His graphic work includes several screen prints, devoted to various themes and illustrations of book covers and interiors.
