Cosmos in rotation

Manuela Crespo (b. 1961), painter, illustrator, graphic artist, neurologist by profession, has sought, and in her own words, “a connection between ( …) neurology and art, which in his point of view is found in the connections that both allow to develop between  microcosms and macrocosms”, with emphasis on the order that underlies them. Or between the intimate and the immense, which a specialist such as the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard, also interested in the relationship between art and science, considers one of the essential mechanisms of the imaginary .  Small cosmos in rotation, in these superb engravings, the calligraphy that appears in them seems to spark, suggesting the great rhythms of the Cosmos in rotation, a hidden meaning suggested in the labyrinth of lines and signs.
