Jorge Manuel do Carmo Pereira de Almeida was born in 1958 in Lisbon. He attended the Painting course at Ar.Co. In 2000 he received the Honorable Mention in the 1st Domingos Sequeira Painting Biennial. He was the author of several urban installations, in Lisbon and Braga. He also worked in the area of illustration, with several books published and collaborated with international and national Museums. In 2004, Mandala produced a DVD about their children, so  recent works. He passed away in 2015.
