Born on the island of Pico, in the Azores, in 1977. He lived on the island of S. Miguel where he attended Liceu Antero de Quental. Between 1994 and 1995 he attended the studio. of plastic expression - drawing and painting - from the Academia das Artes de Ponta Delgada, guided by the painter Filipe Franco. He graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon where he developed knowledge in the area of engraving. In addition, there are several training courses such as the I level of photography at Ar.Co and the scientific illustration course at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon . His young artistic career includes several individual and collective exhibitions, and some awards that prove his progression and recognition: Honorable Mention Fine Papers - PREMIOS PAPIES 2011, with the engraving "My Empire is in a distant country"; Honorable Mention Fine Papers - AWARDS PAPIES 2010, with the engraving "O Passeio das Almas"; "Raymon Menager" Prize, painting. painting “Man and the Sea”, included in the Navy Day celebrations at the Azores Maritime Zone Command, 1996. His work is represented in several collections and collections. It is private, already having a consistent group of followers of its work. The artist lives and works in Lisbon.
