Born in 1957 Cristobal Olmedo holds his first individual exhibition in 1980 and since then has held several individual and group exhibitions, worth noting.

Moreover, he received the 2nd Majadahonda Painting Prize, Madrid, Spain in 1982; the Aboleng Medal of Honor, Madrid, Spain in 1989; and the Medal of Honor in the Painting Prize of "La Caja", Córdoba, Spain, in 1992, among others.

He participated in the Art Chicago fairs, Chicago, USA; Art Miami, Miami, USA; and Arte Santander, Cantabria, Spain, among others.
