THE BIG WINDOW OF ART AND POETRY

Maria João Fernandes, Joana Lapain Poetry, art critic and poet, candidate for the Pessoa Prize in 2013 by theSociedade Nacional of Fine Arts and Eduardo Lourenço saw in 2015 his career consecrated by a large exhibition at the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal, of his art collection contemporary literature and his critical and poetic work. He was part of the team that laid the foundations of the Fundação de Serralves Porto Contemporary Art Museum and in June 2018 he represented Portugal at the International Congress of the Association ;the Spanish Art Critics Awards which took place at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid. His current screen printing work includes major founding references of his aesthetic universe and some verses from his forthcoming book of poetry: Cadernos do Vento which opens with a presentation; that of Eduardo Lourenão. The painters mentioned, Albert Marquet, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall and Paul Klee, thus join the group. breath of poetry, according to the philosopher Heidegger, the true essence of art.
