Quoting the art critic Maria João Fernandes about her silkscreens, “The swirling movement of forms, their metamorphosis according to the hidden mechanisms of creation, A very lively chromaticism that favors primary colors marks the solar adventure of Sofia Areal's images. The shape has as its horizon the infinity contained in the exaltation of the lines and a luminous halo that aims at the perfection of the circle and perpetually escapes with the rebellion and passion that connects the vision. visible and the invisible. Your plastic grammar is ready. This is well evident in his screen printing creations that offer us a true “Yes” from art to the primordial energies that preside over art; life and must inspire it.”
