On March 6th, the CPS - Portuguese Screen Printing Center paid tribute to Master Cruzeiro Seixas > in a ceremony presided over by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. At the event, the book/catalogue of the Artist's Graphic Work and Multiple Artworks was launched, a work produced with the exclusive support of Caixa Geral de Depósitos. 

The presentation of the book was in charge of Maria João Fernandes(AICA - International Association of Art Critics) and Tomá s Paredes, President of the Spanish Association of Art Critics, who contextualized the artist's career and work.

Date from 1986 the first Cruzeiro Seixas Serigraph published by the CPS at the time. which was followed by countless others, making him the artist most edited by the Centro. The book highlights the editions of Graphic Works carried out by the CPS, as editor, or simply as a printer, and also includes all the works that it was possible to gather from other publishers and entities. To this set are added other multiples of art, including albums, artist books and sculpture projects.

Exhibition of the artist's works

In the context of the tribute, the CPS presented an exhibition of works by Cruzeiro Seixas - engravings, screen prints and collages representing his plastic and poetic universe and published at the CPS over several years of joint collaboration.
