Portuguese art is honored at the Expressions Space of the CDG Foundation (Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion) in Rabat, Morocco, which hosts, until September 5th, an exhibition entitled “Regards sur le Portugal” (Olhares sobre Portugal), with works by 36 Portuguese artists, representing four artistic expressions: screen printing, engraving, lithography and photography/digital printing and a nucleus homage to Mestre Marçal .


This exhibition, organized by Alexandra Silvano, artistic director of the CPS, is organized by Alexandra Silvano. This is the result of a partnership between the CDG Foundation and the Portuguese Screen Printing Center and will allow us to highlight the artistic practices of Portugal, a country friendly to Morocco that has has come to stand out for the artistic activity of its creators and its cultural diversity.

Among the artists represented are, in addition to Humberto Marçal, Cruzeiro Seixas, António Ramos Rosa, Carlos Calvet, David de Almeida, Eduardo Nery, Jorge Martins, Mário Cesariny , Noronha da Costa, Pedro Calapez, Querubim Lapa, Sofia Areal, among many others.

The exhibition, made possible thanks to the strong mobilization and collaboration of the Ambassador of Morocco in Portugal, Karima Benyaich and the Embassy of Portugal in Morocco, seals the artistic union between the CDG Foundation and the CPS, and jointly celebrates the friendship and unique ties that unite Morocco and Portugal, consolidating the existing cooperation between the two countries that history and geography have already revealed. had approached.
