Arraiano [adj. Who lives on the stingray or border. What is it? native of the border]

Paulo Arraiano's visual universe resides in a duality that merges the natural and the artificial, nature and urbanity, emergence and creation. At the intersection between these two apparently opposite and exclusive worlds, he managed to establish a new balance that emerges from the primitive energy that flows between one and the other and lies at the root of his visual dialectic. Look for society even before the reference “man”. A territory, a body, drifting through energy flows. Paulo Arraiano's plastic work has been focusing on the immaterial territory and its connection with the physical territory: emotional cartographies where the body acts as an extension of nature, through a recording based on the movement and fluidity of the connection to nature. root, seeking to bring to the city the energy that it tends to forget. In the plastic artist's work, detachment from the original work begins emotional wandering in a new body/dialogue space, a cross between urban cartography and the meridians of the human body in an alignment of premises for a work of “urban acupuncture”. Looking for points of conflict, blockages, emotional and energetic flows to be reciprocated to the geographical space.
