You will be patent from May 12th and until the end of May. June 30th at the CPS of the CCB the exhibition FWET POP STARS by Carlos Barroco, part of the celebrations of the 25th Anniversary of the CPS. Carlos Barroco, who in 2006 paid homage to the Italian artist Mimmo Rotella with a set of décollages, continues his work as a reference to Pop Stars with screen prints alluding to four of its exponents who give the title to the Pop Stars. shows: Figo, Warhol, Elvis and Tintin (FWET). Figures cut out on plain backgrounds in bright, contrasting colors, alluding to the Comics in the case of Tintin, make up the playful and festive universe of contemporary mythologies studied by Roland Barthes, under the sign of money, parties and the celebration of everyday rituals.
