Born in Lisbon in 1955. Works artistically in the areas of painting, ceramics, illustration and sculpture. As an illustrator, his work at the Press and at the Municipal Council of Beja stands out. In the context of sculpture in public spaces, he works with materials such as bronze, screen-printed glass, concrete and Byzantine mosaics. He carried out tapestry work for the Portalegre Tapetry Factory and is represented in private collections in Portugal and abroad. Of the exhibitions he held, the one held in New York, with João Cutileiro, and at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, in Lisbon, stands out.
