Born in Spain in 1936, Doroteo Arnáiz was mainly inspired by the growth of the 1950s. During the post-war period, New York City became the international focus of modernism. Throughout the Second World War, many artists moved to the city after having fled in exile from Europe, which culminated in the fusion and amalgamation of skills and ideas.
