With a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, Cláudia Salgueiro also holds a Master's in Editorial Design from the same institution.

Since 2016, she has participated in several illustration exhibitions, such as “Plate it Please!” at the Vista Alegre Museum, “Portuguese Illustration – Portuguese Illustrators in the Spotlight” at the Setúbal Illustration Festival or the Collective Exhibition "Uivo" in Maia.

In 2018 she received the 1st Prize at the 11th International Illustration Meeting in São João da Madeira. In 2019 she is part of the winning collective of the Chili com Carne edition award with the publication “All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace”, nominated for the Alternative Comic Award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. In 2020, she is one of the finalists for the Sansperarte Editorial Illustration Prize at the Vila Nova de Cerveira Biennial.

She works and lives in Porto between design and illustration.
